遠藤ミチロウ in 函館あうん堂

3/6～9の間、函館に帰省。久しぶりに駅前あたりを散歩していたら、老舗のライブハウス「あうん堂ホール」玄関に「3/7遠藤ミチロウLIVE」の張り紙。これはなんたる偶然！喜んで開場を待つ。ちなみにこのあうん堂は、GLAY（函館出身）がまだ無名だった頃にライブしていた場所としても有名。屋根裏部屋のような質素な木造の空間がなんともいいムード。

開演19時半。立ち見が出るほど集まった観客の大半が20代の男性。君たち渋い趣味してるな～とうれしくなる。タバコをくわえつつミチロウ登場！「お母さんいい加減あなたのことは忘れてしまいました」「JUST LIKE A BOY」「ガジュマル」「父よ、あなたはエラかった」などを熱唱。固唾をのんでミチロウのプレイを凝視する観客。この緊張感が心地よい。前半後半の２部構成だったが、前半後半とも２本用意していたギターの弦を両方切ってしまうほどのパワープレイだった。

途中のMCでは、「福島あたりからずっと雪が降っていた。北海道に渡れば晴れてる気がしたが、函館も雪。しかもみぞれ雪で驚いた。故郷もみぞれが多いので今日は親近感がわいた」「数年前にもここでやったとき、外で転んでカバンを壊し、急遽近くのカバン屋で安いのを買った。これが丈夫でいまも使ってます」などなど。

そういえば、あうん堂の楽屋は、ミチロウが全国ベスト３に数えるほど居心地がいいのだそうだ（ミチロウ著「音泉マップ」参照）。今度来るときは見てみたいなあ。
