代田幸子、奥華子、WA-M at 吉祥寺SPC

5/20、代田幸子さんの歌を聴きに吉祥寺Star Pine's Cafeへ。今日の出演は、代田幸子さん（opening act）、奥華子さん、WA-M（出演順）。

代田幸子さんは大阪出身のピアノ弾き語りアーティスト。この春から東京での生活をスタートさせ、今回は上京後初ライブ。

「今の曲は、京都に川端通という桜がすっごいきれいな通りがあって、その風景を想い出しながら作った歌です」

「初恋の人がお婿さんに行って落ち込んでいたときにお店でランブータンという果物をみつけた。恨みみたいなトゲが出てて、でも中身は秘めた心のように甘い。そんなランブータンに込めた恨みの気持ちを歌にしました」
5. 彼の夢とランブータン
「あるきっかけで目から鱗が落ちたように世界が違って見えることがある。最後はそんな気持ちを残そうと思って作った歌」

ピアノの前にちょこんと座った頼りなげな彼女だが、歌い出すと空気が一変。いつもながらの伸びやかな声に改めてグッとくる。ファンタジーのテイストを持ちつつ、チクリと針を指すような心の痛みも感じさせる独特の世界で、なんともユニークな歌の数々。まだまだ聴いてない曲が多いので、今後のライブがとても楽しみ。

奥華子さんもピアノ弾き語り。

久しぶりに聴いたが、雰囲気がより大人っぽくなった印象。というか、もともと外見はいまの代田さんに近かったんだけど、髪もロングになってすっかりお姉さん然とした姿になっていた。カップル向きの幸福感ある歌が多いのは以前と変わらず。

WA-Mは、滋賀出身のmaikoさん(vo,筝)とatsushiさん(17弦)のツイン琴ユニット(?)。今回はデビューCD「コノ花ノ咲クヤ」のレコ初ライブだったようで、会場には業界関係者らしきひと多数。ちょっと緊張気味か。

「いまの２曲で、滋賀県の環境が伝わったかと思います。今朝、滋賀県から台風を心配しつつ来ました。さっき楽屋で代田さんから、愛読書は『古事記』ですか？と聞かれました(笑)。CDのタイトルは『古事記』の登場人物ですが、そんなことないですよ(笑)」
4. おやすみの数え歌
「私の家の２階からは田んぼしか見えないんですよ。夜にお月さんが田んぼに映って、本当に見せてあげたいです。そんな環境で次の曲が生まれました」
5. 雨乞いアマガエル
6. 十五夜
7. コノ花ノ咲クヤ
E1. 紅差し指

２人が弾く琴は一見同じようだが、maikoさんは13弦、atsushiさんは17弦で微妙に大きさが違う。曲は、叙情的で幻想的なものが多いが、「雨乞いアマガエル」のようにコミカルなものも。もう少し自分たちを解放して、より曲調のバリエーションが増えると面白い展開になりそう。
