笹川美和 at 南青山MANDA-LA

5/19、南青山MANDA-LAで笹川美和さんの２回目のワンマンライブ。バックに強力バンドをしたがえて、ささみー堂々の登場。サポートは、小倉昌浩(gt)、岡雄三(b)、佐藤唯史(dr)、林有三(key)、やまもとようこ(cho)。

「今日はきちんと内容のある話をしようと考えて、そうだ、紫雲寺町のことを詳しく話そうと思いました（ガイドブックのような説明に場内笑）。もうすぐ合併されます。私は小学校の時は泣き虫で、算数も音楽もダメ。でも運動神経は天下一品で水泳大会でも優勝。中学ではバレー部でした。で、こんな話をしてもツマンネエと思って、紫雲寺町の干拓音頭を歌おうと考えました（と、ここでひとふし、会場拍手）。合併されちゃうので希望もないんですが（おいおい）、きれいな町ですので来てください」

「紫雲寺町（新潟）の家では普段何をしてるかというと、とりあえず起きると昼です。ご飯食べて、WOWOW見てつまんないと寝るんですよ。起きると４～５時で、６～７時にご飯食べてテレビ見て風呂入って寝て、起きるとまた昼なんですよ。おまえはどれだけ寝るんだと。あと、弟は二人いるんですが、私の歌は一切聴きません。姉ちゃんの歌何言ってっかわかんねっけど～、とか言われて、オマエ少し黙れやと（笑）」

「私は今年短大を卒業しまして、ヒマになりまして（笑）。中国語コースを出たんですけど、○○という先生がいまして、忘年会とかでずっと一升瓶抱えてて、笹川おまえまだ飲めね～な～とか言われて。で、こないだ卒業後に初めて電話して中国語の歌詞の単語をききました」

全16曲を休憩ナシで歌いきった笹川さんに大拍手。独特の深い世界をもった１曲１曲それぞれに強く魅了され、あっという間に過ぎた１時間40分だった。今回はほとんどの曲でボーカルに専念していて、その素晴らしい声質がいかんなく発揮されていた。ただ、本人のピアノ弾き語りももう少し聴きたかったかも。１曲とばしてしまうミスもあったが、むしろ大物ぶりをファンに印象づけた感じ。

また、いきなりベランメエ口調になったりするMCもあいかわらず絶好調（本人は笑わそうとはしてないんだけど天然で笑える）。二人の弟の話が今回は特に面白かった。そういえば以前のライブで紫雲寺町の町長さんとメルトモと言ってたけどその後も続いているんだろうか（どうでもいいんだけど）。

それにしても、あれよあれよとファンが増えていって、今回もあっという間にSOLD OUT。もうメジャー並みにチケット入手が困難になってきた感じ。ああ、ささみーが遠くに行ってしまうような…。
