下地勇 in 那覇タワーレコード

12/7、国際通りオーパ内のタワーレコードで下地勇インストアライブ。直前にGET HAPPY RECORDに行っていたためギリギリ到着。店の入り口付近には、本日発売の１stアルバム「天」がズラリとディスプレイ。おお～プッシュしてるな～と見ていると、なんと目の前にご本人が！　ステージ出演直前で待機中だったらしい。というわけで、まもなくステージ開始。

１曲目は｢我達が生まり島(バンタガンマリズマ) ｣。ん～、全然意味がわからん。さすが宮古口。まわりの那覇市民にもわからないようで歌詞カードの訳と首っ引きで聞いている人も。私が唯一聞き取れたのは「国民年金」だけです（区長は国民年金を払いましょうとスピーカーで言っている、という詞の部分）。曲はほかに「おばあ」など全部で５、６曲くらいだったろうか。宮古のひとには失礼かもしれないが、なんともいえない宮古口の語感が、下地さんの安心感のある声とメロディでより増幅され不思議な魅力を発揮している感じ。

サポートはキーボード、エレキギター、ハモニカ（これがなかなかいい感じ）、の３人。下地さんはギター。
