池田卓 in コザMOD'S（沖縄音楽情報のんかあDEEPS！）

池田卓 in コザMOD'S

12/9、西表島の陸の孤島船浮（ふなうき）出身の池田卓さんのライブ。見るのは２回目で前回もMOD'S。前回同様キーボードは石川千草さん。１曲目がいきなり「二見情話」で、おっと思ったのもつかの間、歌詞がとんでしまった(笑)。「（慣れない）沖縄民謡から始めるからこんなことになるんですね」と反省の弁。今回は（も？）眠くなるライブがテーマだそうで、しんみりする曲中心でいくとのこと。「島々清しゃ」「ちばりよ」「いらよい月夜浜」と続く。

会場には沖縄水産高校時代の先輩が来ていて、うれしそうなんだけどやりにくそう。この先輩、石川さんが出だしを２回連続ミスったときは「美人だから許す～」「でも３回目はないからよ」と会場を笑わせ、かけ声や指笛もいれてある意味第２のサポートメンバー。全校生徒13名の舟浮小中学校を出て沖縄水産高校に入学した池田さん。きっと初めて同年代と共同生活をした高校時代の仲間はかけがえのない存在なんだろうなと想像。

来年１月２月はライブを入れず、レコーディングに専念する計画という。1stミニアルバムの表題曲「島の人よ」を超える歌を作りたいとのこと。そんなわけで、今年最後のライブとなる今回は「なりたいな総集編」を。この「なりたいな」は、シマのおばぁのぶっ飛びぶりを次々とたたみかける爆笑ソング。島唄やバラードばかりのレパートリーのなかで、唯一異彩を放ちながらも知名度バツグンの池田さんの代表曲(?)。今回も思いっきり笑わせられる。特にジュゴンネタが...おっと、これ以上は言うまい。

後半はオリジナルのバラード中心。「この島にさきたくて」「なにもいらないこの島」「島の人よ」など、八重山を想う心がストレートに伝わってくる歌が印象に残る。池田さんはライブで始終ニコニコしてて好感度高いのだが、ちょっとシリアスなバラード系ではポーカーフェイスでいってほしいな～、と帰りに寄った宮古そば「愛」でひとりソーキと格闘しつつ思うのだった。

I think that the Bible as literature should be a compulsory part of the national curriculum � you can稚 understand English literature and culture without it. But insofar as theology studies the nature of the divine, it will earn the right to be taken seriously when it provides the slightest, smallest smidgen of a reason for believing in the existence of the divine. Meanwhile, we should devote as much time to studying serious theology as we devote to studying serious fairies and serious unicorns. by online poker rooms
