パナヌファCD到着

先月(12/8)発売のパナヌファのCD「PANANUFA 02」をやっと入手。パナヌファは、波照間島で日本最南端の音楽食堂「パナヌファ」を営む波照間良美さんと岩崎順さんの夫婦ユニット。

CDの１曲目は、いきなり「ちんぬくじゅうしい」で、思わずほろり。これ聴くと一気に沖縄にワープしてしまう。夕どきの家の灯りがぽっと目に浮かぶ、そんな唄。寿[KOTOBUKI]の「ちんぬく...」も好きだが、波照間さんも凛と響く声がしんみりと情景を浮き上がらせていい感じ。そのほか、「波照間島節」「月ぬ清しゃ」「沖永良部の子守唄」など、ウクレレやシンセを加えつつも抑えめのアレンジでなごみます。唯一のオリジナル曲「でいごの木の下で」も、違和感なくアルバムにとけ込んでいて好感触。次回こそは波照間に渡るぞ。
