田中眞紀子 in 青い部屋

2/6、渋谷の「青い部屋」で田中眞紀子さんのライブ。田中さんは、私が2002年に出会ったなかで最も強烈なインパクトを感じたピアノ弾き語りのアーティスト。今回はちょっと趣向を変え、弾き語りを始めた頃の歌を中心に選んだとのこと。最初は「ライブハウス＝不良が行く場所」と思っていたそうで、ワザとワルぶった歌を作っていたそうだ。「愛してやるさ」もまさにそんな感じだが、歌が始まるとともに独特の空気で「青い部屋」を包み込んでしまうのが、さすがにアーティスト田中眞紀子。そして今回の圧巻はやはり「ブルース・シンガー」。言葉がぐぐっと胸に突き刺さってくる。痛いな、もう。この歌を作曲したきっかけは、勤めていた会社がバブル崩壊時に倒産し、その幹部達の哀れな姿を見てしまったこととのこと。あー、自分も魂が腐っちまう前に行動を起こさないと。次回のライブは2/27、3/26渋谷アピア。
