マリカミズキ「シマウタブンブン」

奄美の島唄若手ユニット「マリカミズキ」のニューアルバムを入手。これが、すごいのなんの。企画コンセプトからしてブッ飛び。シマウタとガムランとのコラボ。なんだそりゃ！ところがこれがまた聴いてビックリ。すげー、いい！ライナーノートによれば、現地（バリ島）に行ってほとんど準備なしのセッションで野外録音したらしい。そのため、バックには虫やニワトリや犬の鳴き声が。虫はともかく犬って?!　しかも吠えてる！それもまた、臨場感があってよし！

それにしても、ガムランの伴奏で「糸繰り節」やるなんて誰が想像できようか。「しわ（心配）じゃー、しわじゃー」。いや、全然心配しなくてオッケーでした。でも聴いてみないとこの不思議な魅力はわからないので、必聴。ちなみにタイトルにある「ブンブン」とは、竹ガムランのアンサンブル形態「ジョゲッ・ブンブン」のことで、未婚の男女が楽しく踊るための音楽なのだそうだ。現地録音のエンジニアには、公務員エッセイストとしても有名な宮里千里氏（おっ！）。ボーカルで中孝介も参加（おおっ！）。（製作：JABARA RECORDS）

わが輩も買い求めました。
このCDの録音珍道中は，鹿児島のMBCテレビでも放送されていたので，発売を楽しみにしていたのです。
なんというか，中村瑞希はもう貫禄すら感じます。それと相棒の吉原まりかですが，ディープな声でゾクゾクしますね。
ガムラン好きの友人に勧めたら早速買って聴いたそうで，虜になったとか。　売れてほしいね。
