「STREET SOUNZ」

副題が「Okinawa Music Renaissance」というこのムック。沖縄発の元気な若手バンドが満載。巻頭特集はモンゴル800、IN-HI、地獄車、BLEACH。ロック系だけでなく、與那覇徹、しゃかり、Kiroro、仲田まさえ等のインタビュー紀事も掲載している。実は私も少しだけ原稿書かせてもらってるんだけど、下請けの下請け仕事だったので、出来上がるまで本の企画内容をまったく知らなかったのだ。でも意外とディープな内容でなかなかいい感じ。圧巻なのは附録CD。試聴サイズながらインディーズ系の音源を43曲も収録しているのだ。普通の本屋よりも、HMVとかTOWER RECORDSのほうが発見しやすいかも。ただ、ちょっと目には沖縄音楽関係の本と気づきにくいのが難点か（ネラってるのかもしれないけど）。
