亜波根綾乃「同窓会'03 ASAYAN」（沖縄音楽情報のんかあDEEPS！）

亜波根綾乃「同窓会'03 ASAYAN」

2月にリリースされたCD「同窓会'03 ASAYAN」。これは、昨年終了したオーディション番組「ASAYAN」からデビューしたアーティスト19組の歌をCD2枚に収録したコンピレーションアルバム。ライナーノートにアーティストたちの近況も掲載しているということで、それ目当てに思わず買ってしまう。私が知りたいのは、ASAYAN史上最上級の実力を持つといわれた亜波根（阿波根）綾乃さんの近況。

で、結論からいうと、亜波根さんに関してはほとんど近況情報はナシ（泣）。ただ申し訳程度に「現在、作詞作曲に重点を置き目立った活動は行なわれていない」との記述があるのみ。

亜波根さんのライヴはデビュー当時に一度だけ聴きに行ったことがある（'96年？）。場所は渋谷クアトロ。歌はさすがに上手。そして、そのしっかりとした歌いっぷりを見ながら思ったのが「きっといいアンマー（お母さん）になるだろうな～」ということ。あたたかで強い母性を感じさせる声質。ライヴ中盤でのプレゼント抽選で、会場に来ていた彼女の弟さんが当たってしまったときに見せたお姉さんぶりもその印象を裏付けた。でも亜波根さんは当時まだ高校生になったばかりだったのだが。

数年前にレーベルや事務所との契約も切れたようで、ファンが消息を知る術はないまま。現在、亜波根さんはまだ20歳代前半のはず。たとえ、何年、何十年経とうとも、彼女が自分から再び歌を歌いたいと思うその日まで静かに待ち続けたい。

ちなみに、ASAYANの沖縄オーディションで彼女が歌ったのは石嶺聡子さんの「私がいる」だった。
