嘉手苅林次 in コザ民謡スナックとみ子

4/28、嘉手苅林次さんが唄っているお店があることを聞きつけ、案内してもらってコザの照屋交差点近くにある民謡スナック「とみ子」へ。

「とみ子」は、沖縄芝居のベテラン女優、真喜志とみ子さんのお店。林次さんがここで唄うようになって3～4年目とのこと。林次さんにお会いするのは初めてで緊張するが、カウンターで気さくにユンタクしてもらって感激。コザ近辺の方言の話から、民謡の習い方についてなど、さまざまな話題で楽しませてもらう。

ステージにあがった林次さんは、大城あい子さんの太鼓とお囃子で、「三村節」「軽便鉄道節」などを演奏。「ヒヤミカチ節」で見せた早弾きがスゴイ。「安里屋ユンタ」や「芭蕉布」では私もステージに呼ばれ、唄わせてもらう。ん～、自分が知ってる民謡があまりに少なくてお恥ずかしい限り。もっと民謡聴かないとダメだな～と反省。そろそろ三線を本格的にやるべきか。

なお、林次さんは6月?に名古屋のコンサートに呼ばれているらしい。また、ママの真喜志とみ子さんは、11月に県内で沖縄芝居の公演を準備中とのこと。
